1. PRINCIPLES

It is important to us that you feel safe when visiting and using our internet pages. Therefore we take the protection of your personal data very seriously. Protecting your privacy when processing personal data is important to us.
 

2. Who is the controller responsible for the processing of data by this website?

LEO II Stuttgart S.à r.l. is the controller responsible for the processing of your personal data by this website. Please see the Legal Notice for more information on the controller.
 

3. What data do we collect on this website? 

3.1 When you visit the website

When you visit our website, information is sent automatically to our website’s server by the browser used on your device. The server stores this information temporarily in a so-called log file. This applies in particular to the following data:

  • Name and URL of the downloaded file
  • Amount of data transmitted
  • Access status (file transferred, file not found etc.)
  • Data identifying the browser and operating system used
  • Name of the user’s internet service provider
  • Website from which our site was accessed

You can also make contact with us via our website. To do that, you provide us with your telephone number and e-mail address in the contact form.
 

4. The purposes for which we process your data and the legal basis on which we do so

4.1 Technical data

We process the data which is collected automatically when you visit the website in order to allow you to use the website (connection setup), for system security purposes and for the technical administration of the network infrastructure. It is not matched with other databases or transferred to third parties, in whole or in part. The legal basis for the processing is the protection of our legitimate interests pursuant to GDPR Art. 6 para. 1(f). Our legitimate interests consist of providing you with a fast, user-friendly and secure website.
 

4.2 Contact details

If you make contact with us via the website, we process the data transferred to us by you for the purposes of processing your enquiry and performing any services requested by you via the website. This processing takes place on the basis of the consent that you have given us pursuant to GDPR Art. 6 para. 1(a).

You can withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future, for example by way of a short e-mail to info@barings.com.
 

5. Use of cookies

On our website we use cookies which are necessary in order to operate the website, and also statistical/analytical cookies (including from third parties). These are small text files that are stored on your computer. They collect anonymous information about how the website is used during your visit, and store it on your hard drive for six months. These cookies are then automatically deleted.

6. Will my data be passed on to third parties?

The departments at the controller which are given your data are those which need it in order to fulfil our contractual and legal obligations. In some circumstances we must pass your data to authorities or courts if we are legally required to do so. 
We also engage processing contractors, who help us to develop and operate the website. These contractors work exclusively in accordance with our instructions; we make sure of this by using strict contractual arrangements and taking technical and organisational measures, and making additional checks.  
 

7. How long will my data be kept?

We store data for as long as is legally required or permitted, or for as long as necessary to provide the service requested by you, or for long as you have agreed to. We store information collected by us on your use of our website for six months. We store personal data that you provide to us by way of the contact form for as long as we need it to answer your query, or until you withdraw your consent to the processing of your data.  
 

8. What rights do I have?

You can request information free of charge at any time about the amount, the source and the recipient of the stored data and also the purpose for which it is stored; according to the data protection rules you also have a right to rectification or erasure of your data or to restrict its processing, a right to object to processing and a right of data portability. 
You also have the right to complain to a competent supervisory authority. Our competent supervisory authority is the Baden-Württemberg State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information.  
 

9. How long is this privacy notice valid?

This privacy notice is up to date and is dated 22nd April 2020. We reserve the right to vary this privacy notice if necessary at any time with effect for the future, and in particular to adapt it to take account of developments to our website or the implementation of new technologies.
